@mkuegi It’s not news. Any real investor understands MSTR can and will sell any and all BTC if needed. They don’t need a “statement” about it. It’s already implied and been talked about. They came up with this PR stunt basically to mock all his low dopamine retail disciples.
@AlexesNakamoto There’s no reality where that statement is true. It’s propaganda. Saylor isn’t in control anymore. Hes just the one delivering the message now and he has to condition enough people to accept that his equity is a good deal, so the agenda in the background can be met.
@pastorcoin It will, then it'll get hammered again forcing MSTR to raise the dividend again, then it'll go back to par, then it'll get hammered again.... and again and again until the dividend is 30%+ and the equity is beat to shit or they sell a bunch BTC.
@pete_rizzo_ Math doesn't = practicality. Bitcoin price is flat over almost 4 years. MSTR is down on their position. They can't sell equity forever and once they start selling btc to pay the dividends it's just a slow wind down from there. There's no going concern here.
Companies that repurchase their stock with cash weaken their business. Those that buyback stock with debt actually impoverish their business. #Bitcoin on the balance sheet is a rational alternative that strengthens a capital structure to the benefit of all stakeholders.

@saylor Just admit the Trump administration played you. I think you thought the government was going to buy 1,000,000 coins when trump got elected and you front ran it and lost the gamble. Rip the band aid and reset. Don’t go deeper into the FIC.
He explains very elloquently what many understand intuitively
Microstrategy needs "dumb money" (for lack of better word, could be retail but not necessarily) to bid up the products into premium so he can raise more money
The thing that attracts dumb money is the narrative, his messiah aura, his brand
Damage the brand bad enough, dumb money leaves, premium evaporates and with it Saylor's ability to maneuvre
@afsheenjaf H they have to dilute the common equity or hope and pray BTC kicks it i to high gear. They knew this was coming… i believe last year they approved an additional self offering to sell up to $10billion in new equity.
