Another highly productive @NEONHE supporting BTEC Learners working group meeting - thank you @UniofSuffolk for hosting, @IntoUniversity for a great insight into student ambassadors, and NERUPI (https://t.co/CfcCysy4AK) for exploring WP evaluation and outcomes with us all.
Number are slightly dwindling for our Pe A level and Btec courses with students often being persuaded to take subjects that are deemed more academic! What ideas do schools use to entice students into picking this as a subject! E.g trips/ uni visits/ careers...

@UniversitiesUK Also, the Committee cited the report by @HEPI_news last year which showed that only 15 BTEC students were accepted at the four most selective universities in 2015. As a result, the Committee 'encouraged' uni's to continue to accept BTECs, but will that be enough?
