@NBA@spurs Brunson is taking at least 4 steps after the “gather”! NBA rules state that you can only take 2 steps! The upper video contains the most obviously illegal post “gather” number of steps.🤨🤦♂️👀
@spurs@NBAOfficial@JeremyLin@NBA@SVP@PatMcAfeeShow Brunson is “traveling” to get open (one his signature moves.) Even though he missed this shot, he’s pinning the 🏀 against his right side as he leaves the floor on a two foot hop “or otherwise (he’s permitting) the ball to come to rest, while he is in control of it...” This equals a “gather”. NBA rules say only 2 steps are allowed after the “gather”. Brunson is taking 4 or 5 steps. [Slo mo the video from pause with your finger to see it clearly.]
James Dolan invited his friend Donald Trump to watch Game 3. In order to do that, they have to ban the organic, historically joyous parties happening outside MSG for fans who can't afford to be inside. Modern sports in a nutshell
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement is ending its policy of reporting deaths of recently released detainees, the Department of Homeland Security said – a policy change that comes amid increasing scrutiny over the deaths of immigrants in federal custody. https://t.co/mDCcd9693a
Markwayne Mullin wants to pull Customs and Border Protection officers from airports in sanctuary cities, which would shut down international arrivals at New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and San Francisco. He has been pushing this unprompted in White House meetings. He is, by one Trump official's account, obsessed with it.
The travel industry ran the numbers. Shutting down customs at Newark alone risks $8 billion in yearly travel spending and $100 million in daily imports. Across all targeted sanctuary-city airports, the estimate is over $70 billion in US economic activity at risk.
The FIFA World Cup final is July 19 at MetLife Stadium. Fifteen minutes from Newark International. Newark is the primary international entry point for World Cup fans. Mullin wants to pull customs officers from Newark to reassign them to an ICE detention center protest.
Seventeen travel and business trade groups - including the US Chamber of Commerce - wrote to Mullin telling him this would cause chaos across the entire national air transportation system. His own colleague Sean Duffy, Trump's Transportation Secretary, told a congressional hearing that "we shouldn't shut down air travel in a state that doesn't agree with our politics."
When the US Chamber of Commerce and your own cabinet colleague are telling you the plan is incoherent, the plan is incoherent. Mullin's logic is that sanctuary cities can't have immigration enforcement without cooperation, therefore they shouldn't get customs processing either. That's not governance. That's a hostage situation with a boarding pass.
One day we will look back on the murder of “60 Minutes” as one of the travesties of Trump’s reign.
In the meantime, thank you Scott Pelley for telling the truth. Thank you, former “60 Minutes” producers, correspondents, and staff, for telling the truth.
And now, we should boycott CBS. https://t.co/dusMiZXyVn
