PCOS has always been a misleading label most women don’t actually have cysts , and the condition is far more than a reproductive or ovarian issue. It’s a complex metabolic, endocrine, and systemic disorder involving insulin resistance, inflammation, androgen excess, and increased risks for diabetes, heart disease, mental health struggles, and more.
