While these are the public numbers for youtube, we don't actually know what they reported to Billboard. BB works with the numbers they are given, considering the 1M stream difference in their own charts, it begs the question, just what total did youtube report?
Hey @Youtube, this math seems off? See the US numbers for ON, Top Songs (10M) vs. Top Music Videos (two versions 7.91M + 3.08M = 10.99M). The Top Songs number should at least equal the combined official MVs, and likely surpass that number. @TeamYoutube
I guess I want to say, I understand the trending, but the accomplishment and the work put into comeback shouldn't be overshadowed. I think we want to see the accomplishment (even if it could be higher) far out trend the negative aspect.
I'm bothered by our decrease in streams compared to comeback's when we were much smaller in size which doesn't quite make sense. Their label has a far better handle on the data than we do and can likely see more and can actually make a real argument.
The label can probably see a lot more than we can when it comes to data, I'm sure if they believe any numbers to be incorrect they will make their case with the facts directly. For this situation, the label is in a better position to deal with it than we are.
I won't rule out that BB's total streams could be incorrectly tabulated, but without knowing the breakdown, is it possible one of the contributing entities reported lower numbers than we think?

BTS Request was supposed to be a one week project to get a @BTS_twt song played once on the radio, as you can see it has outlived its original purpose by a few years. As of late, I'm not able to put the time in I once did to running this account. And to an extent,
I love providing updates and sharing with you when songs are going to play, but it takes so many hours to even try to do this well. I've been trying to figure out how to say this for a while now, but to put it simply, I intend to become a regular fan again.
