I really like the Ancient Greek male aesthetic. It’s strong and powerful, but without the bravado, aggression and thinly veiled insecurity that passes for masculinity these days. Self mastery, moderation and humility were seen as the most important traits for a man to possess.
Ancient Greek masculinity was built on a solid foundation of virtue and inner strength, so they were unashamed of their nudity. You won’t see that from any of today’s “manosphere” influencers, because their deep seated shame and insecurity is incompatible with the vulnerability of nudity.
