Neuigkeiten im Fall des Somaliers, der im Oktober 2022 in Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim die beiden Maler Jonas und Sascha auf offener Straße getötet hatte. Liban M. wurde für diese barbarische Tat sprichwörtlich in letzter Minute für schuldunfähig erklärt und im Maßregelvollzug untergebracht.

Im Pfalzklinikum Klingenmünster griff er dann im Februar 2025 einen Mitpatienten mit einem Messer aus dem Frühstücksraum an und verletzte diesen schwer. Das Opfer teilte mit ihm ein Zimmer und schlief, als er angegriffen wurde. Das Pfalzklinikum verständigte damals erst zwei Tage später die Polizei. Eigentlich wollte man Liban M. im Februar 2025 abschieben, dazu kam es dann aber nicht mehr.

Liban M. ist noch immer im Maßregelvollzug untergebracht. Und jetzt wird es seltsam, denn ein Sachverständiger kam zum Ergebnis, dass er zum Zeitpunkt des Angriffs in der Klinik schuldfähig sei, wie die Staatanwaltschaft im Zusammenhang mit der Anklageerhebung im Oktober letzten Jahres mitteilte. Die Frage der Schuldfähigkeit würde erst in der Hauptverhandlung endgültig geklärt, heißt es da weiter.
Seither frage ich alle paar Wochen beim Landgericht Landau an, ob die Anklage mittlerweile zugelassen wurde und wann der Prozess losgeht. Heute nun teilte mir der Pressesprecher mit, dass die Anklage jetzt zwar zugelassen wurde, aber noch keine Termine zur Hauptverhandlung bestimmt wurden, weil das Gericht nun doch nochmal vor der Hauptverhandlung einen forensisch-psychiatrischen Sachverständigen zur Begutachtung von Liban M. beauftragt hätte.

Ich hatte mich monatelang mit dem Fall Oggersheim beschäftigt. Aus meiner Sicht ist der Mord an Jonas und Sascha einer der grausamsten Verbrechen in den letzten Jahren, die sich im öffentlichen Raum gegen Zufallsopfer oder besser gesagt, gezielt gegen deutsche Männer, zugetragen haben.
