I had progressively worsening symptoms for a period of 18 months. I came up with every excuse in the book. Aging, food allergy, you name it. I ended up in the ER. Denial ended that day. My reality became what it currently is. That I am literally fighting for my life every single day at now 54 years old. I am now stage IV with metastatic spread to the lungs, Liver,’Peritoneum and axillary Lymph Nodes. Prognosis is 6 month to 2 years. I plan to outlive that but the path is beyond difficult.
