HOW TO BE A PROFITABLE SHITCOIN TRADER GUIDE

This guide will be pretty long, and I will go over a bunch of different stuff, so strap in.

Starting off-

-TOOLS(BOTS)
Every single person should be using a telegram bot, somehow I still see people who are trying to swap via raydium, you will never be profitable this way on shitters.
I personally recommend Banana Bot for sol, but i also use Bonk bot, here are the links.

-ALPHA GROUPS

-SUB 10 SOL PORT
If this is you, personally I think you need to burn some sol before you can turn truly profitable, by developing a trading strategy that works for you. Most people I see who are super low liq, and trying to turn nothing into something, take the wrong approach. People see stories of someone turning $20 into 100k in 24 hours on twitter, and think they can do that. I will be 100% honest, you can, and will not do that. It is much SAFER and EASIER, to develop a unit size, and just purely try to stack 2-5xs. It is not hard to stack a bunch of 2xs in this market, ape SMALL, take out initials early, secure profits, go next. You WILL fumble a lot of money, I fumbled so much, but the goal is not to hit a single play, its to develop a strategy early on, make consistent gains, and move your port up and up.

-SUB 100 SOL PORT
By now, you should have some idea what you are doing, you can feel free to take more risks, but always keep a safe unit size. Can start taking out initials at a 3x, holding winners, leaving moonbags, as you can afford to round trip some money. The goal here is to be consistent enough to start hitting some 5-10xs, with decent size relative to your port.

-SUB 1000 SOL PORT
Personally think there are many approaches here, as now you can size into coins that have broken 1m mc, and just play for bigger size 2-3xs, which is honestly a very fair play. Lots of ppl with size, wait until they see 1m break, wait for retest, check volume, then size in accordingly, as its fairly easy for most coins to pull a 2-5x from this point, and the downside risk is minimal. Personally i was still grinding in the trenches, as you can toss more money, at smaller mcs, to get more supply, with less downside risk, as losing 2-5 sol, won't make a dent in your port. I hit a lot of big wins, by grabbing 2-6% of supply on sub 20k coins, that ran to a couple hundred K, in a short time span, that works best for me. By this point, you should know what works best for you, and how to mitigate risk and maximize potential.

MAIN TAKEAWAYS
TLDR: Have a comfy unit sizing relative to your trading portfolio, and always identifiy the max risk prior to entering a trade. I sometimes will buy a 10k position, in a good looking chart, and mentally set a stop loss at x price, once it is under there, I am fine taking my loss, as my risk was defined, and if it ends up pumping, no big deal, i stuck with the plan. Always have take profits in mind, and stop losses. If you sell too early, who cares, theres 50 coins a day that run 10-100x, there is always another coin. If you dwell on the past, you will never be able to enjoy the future. At the end of this day, 90% of this game is mental warfare with yourself. Stick to the plan, if it plays out in your favor perfect, if not, you had a plan, and it failed. Always be self accountable as well

See! Told you you shouldn't have sold!

This example is actually based on a true story from one of my previous cycles with a friend.

When stuff keeps going up, it's incredibly hard to sell.

Each profit taking method will look foolish because if you already have an x10 and it does another x2 from here?

That's an x20!

But here's the flaw. Many people will THINK they will take this profits at an x20.

The reality is much more grim.

Someone who doesn't sell today isn't going to sell tomorrow either.

The example above also shows there's still profit. In reality many don't even get that.

They will round-trip it ENTIRELY because that dip to x5? They want their x20 again they had before.

"I'll sell this time when it goes back to my peak target from earlier"

Only it doesn't. It was over and it went all the way back to the initial entry or even below.

*Despair kicks in. I'm a fool...

There are a lot of lessons to be learned here.

Why? Every single one of you is going to be confronted with this exact scenario in the future.

I'm not talking about today. I'm talking what is going to be ahead of you.

Maybe this year, maybe next year. But it'll come.

And all of your excitement and emotions as a human being will actually advice you to not do it.
