Hoy me impresionó escuchar a Yoko Apasra en TILFF 2026.

Cuando le preguntaron sobre la importancia de los fandoms para la industria, no habló de números, tendencias o popularidad. Habló de personas.

Reconoció que los fans hacen mucho más que consumir contenido: traducen, conectan comunidades, organizan proyectos y cruzan fronteras para apoyar a los artistas que admiran.

BANGKOK, June 7, 2026 — The landmark panel discussion continued on the second day of TILFF Forum 2026 (Thailand International LGBTQ+ Film & TV Festival) at SCBX NEXT TECH, 4th Floor, Siam Paragon, under the topic “BL & GL IConic Talk: Creative Economy to Global Icon.” The session aimed to explore powerful strategies to propel Thailand's BL and GL content from a niche market into a global soft power powerhouse in the creative economy.

The panel was honored by the presence of association representatives, prominent figures behind the scenes, and renowned artists who shared their deep insights. The distinguished lineup included Yoko Apasra, Actress and Artist; Thanayut Thakoonauttaya, Board Member of the Thai Acting Association; Noppharnach Chaiwimhon, Senior Vice President of Content Production at GMMTV Co., Ltd. (GMMTV); Watson Homsangpradit, Vice President of the Thai Y Content Promotion Association and Executive at Hollywood (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; and Babe Tanatat, Actor and Executive of BoutBabe Entertainment. The session was expertly moderated by Naphatr Panyakarn.

This “BL & GL IConic Talk: Creative Economy to Global Icon” discussion vividly reflects the immense potential of Thai BL & GL content in growing on the global economic stage.
