To clarify with this, this is more to say that humanoid characters that are either more durable than other humans or some part beast are desired targets.

Dragons like Corrin or Wolfskin/Kitsune like Keaton and Kaden are two more examples.

Target 1: Durable, Humanoid characters.

In this case, The likes of Tohru, Ilulu, Kanna and Lucoa.
Bubbles enjoys hosts like this due to their stronger bodies letting them stay longer within.

Bubbles still doesn’t know that he’s damaging them, but they last longer!

The likes of Astolfo, Selkie and Nokia Bubbles might take over simply as the slime likes the look of them.

The slime is as non hostile as could be! It’s lived a long time due to the corrosive nature of its slime allowing it to survive being preyed upon.

The slime is as non hostile as could be! It’s lived a long time due to the corrosive nature of its slime allowing it to survive being preyed upon.
However this came as a double edged sword as those that allowed it to come close with no hostility were faced-

Being a slime, it doesn’t understand the damage it deals to the host over an extended period of possession, leading it to unintentionally end up ending someone’s life.

-the host’s body over time. If left long enough, separation from the slime will be fatal. Bubbles doesn’t understand that part though.

General info:

Bubbles is a green slime who is a little smarter than a normal slime. Not by too much, but enough to be able to hijack a host’s systems to control them.

Typically identified to be possessing someone with a green glow around the mouth when mouth is open.

The Host can communicate with Bubbles via their thoughts as Bubbles can read them. It can use their body to speak, sometimes caught talking to themselves as if talking to the person they control.
