Nigeria has not gotten better in my own lifetime.
Sure, there are pockets of individual successes here and there, but your life will be a little less difficult in an environment where you don’t have to provide basic amenities for yourself.

With the projected population growth in Nigeria, current demography where majority are young, unemployed and unskilled people, massive and growing government borrowing, I see no sign of light in the tunnel.
Most of the loans will be paid off by people born in the 90s and 2000s. The same people who have been left with decaying educational institutions incapable of raising a decent workforce that will improve productivity. How do they plan to repay the loans without an increase in economic activity, and most importantly the development of a strong labour force that is a critical factor of production?
They are definitely going to tax people like never before to repay loans that were either mismanaged or outrightly embezzled.

Nigerians born before the 90s have a different perspective of Nigeria. They had scholarships or some sort of govt assistance that foster their sense of patriotism. There were govt empowerment programs they either benefited from directly or indirectly through their parents or older siblings or relatives. There was corruption and poverty, but collectively it was not this bad.
But for someone born in 2000 or 2006, what does it even mean it even mean to be Nigerian? Social media is awash with tribal sentiments because that is what the young people who make up the majority on those platforms can identify with.
At 26, you are still very young and can even afford to spend the next 5 years of your life starting from scratch somewhere else.
If you however choose to stay back, do so with full understanding of what exactly it is you are committing to.
In the end, do what you think is best for you.

Sam ADEYEMI has consistently renewed my admiration and love for him with every teaching of his that I watch. The Nigerian pastor these days is more infallible than the pope in the peak of papal supremacy. I integrated some @aave protocol V2 contracts into ℍ𝕚𝕤𝕙𝕠 using alloy rs. I think alloy_rs is the best tool to create real-time onchain terminal agent.

For now I am just connecting to oracle contract, aave pool, token gateway will connect to more contract. These are getter functions. I will integrate the setter for functions as well to enable the terminal gemini agent carry out transactions from your terminal.

I am starting with aave first, the next will be uniswap V2.

Alloy rs is one of the best thing that ever happened to rust ecosystem. You can follow up my progress in building hisho as I will drop more updates on integrations.
