Minimum Clinically Important Difference to patients for neuro survival is 5%.
Epi saves the heart at the expense of the brain. This is not what patients value.

0.8% improved 30 day survival w/o improved neuro survival and 13% more neuro devastation among survivors.
NNT 112 for survival vs 5 for early defib.
0% probability of at least 2% neuro survival.

@srrezaie Or - to flip the question around: What are the conditions for which a backboard IS necessary? Other that rapid extrication/transport of a multiple trauma patient, I can’t think of any.
