McLaughlin is the fourth @OhioStateFB Buckeye to win the Rimington Trophy after Billy Price in 2017, Pat Elflein in 2016 and LeCharles Bentley in 2001. McLaughlin also now gives Ohio State more Rimington Trophy winners than any school in the country.

Seth McLaughlin added to his postseason trophy case on Thursday night when he was named the recipient of the Rimington Trophy as the nation's outstanding center. The announcement was made during the broadcast of the ESPN College Football Awards show.

The @OhioStateFB Buckeyes will host the Tennessee Volunteers Saturday, Dec. 21, at Ohio Stadium at 8 p.m. This first-round College Football Playoff contest will be televised on ESPN/ABC. It will be the first December home game in Ohio State football history.

The @OhioStateFB Buckeyes, 10-2 overall and the No. 8 seed, is in the CFP for a sixth time since the start of the CFP era and for the fourth time – in six years – under head coach Ryan Day. Ohio State will host the Tennessee Volunteers at Ohio Stadium either Dec. 20 or 21.
