That is the most QB hits the Bucks have had in a game since they had 6 against Michigan State in 2018.
The program has tracked QB hits since 2001. Over the past 25 years, this is the 8th time for Ohio State to record 6+ QB hits in a game
Iowa's 39 rushing yards are the fewest the Hawkeyes have gained against Ohio State since rushing for -9 yards in 2005.
This is the seventh time since 1942 that Ohio State has held Iowa to under 50 rushing yards in a game:
Jeremiah Smith is the first Buckeye to have back-to-back 200-yard receiving games. He currently has 11 catches for 206 yards against Iowa and had 12 receptions for 217 yards last week against Illinois.
With Jeremiah Smith's touchdown catch with 0:12 remaining in the 2nd quarter, Ohio State has scored a TD in the last 0:15 seconds of the first half in every game this season.
This is the first time during the modern era, and likely ever, for the Buckeyes to accomplish this:
Against Illinois, @juliansayin2 threw for 367 yards and 4 TDs.
By doing so, Sayin became the first OSU QB to throw for 300-plus yards and 4 TDs four times.
J.T. Barrett and Justin Fields hit these marks three times each.
The 15 times an OSU QB threw for 300+ yards and 4 TDs:
Jeremiah Smith is having a day. He has 11 catches for 205 yards and 4 TDs. All are career highs.
He's the fifth Buckeye with 4 receiving TDs in a game.
Smith is also the sixth different Ohio State player to ever eclipse 200 receiving yards in a game.
Ohio State leads Illinois 28-10 at halftime. This is only the second time in program history that the Buckeyes have led by this score at the break.
The first time? Ohio State led Arkansas 28-10 in the 2011 Sugar Bowl.
If Smith gets another receiving TD, he'll join Emeka Egbuka, Noah Brown, Dane Sanzenbacher and Terry Glenn as the only Buckeyes to ever have four in a single game.

Between 1949 and today, Carlos Hyde is one of four Buckeyes to score five touchdowns in one game.
Two of the four five-touchdown games were against Illinois.
Chris Henry Jr.'s 75-yard TD reception is the second-longest catch for an Ohio State freshman in school history.
Emeka Egbuka had an 85-yard catch against Akron in 2021.
With that, @ChrisHenryJr's 75-yard TD catch is the longest receiving TD by a freshman in Ohio State history.
For the 12th time in program history, Ohio State leads 35-0 at halftime. All of the opponents were unranked.
Nine of the 12 games have been in the 21st century, and six have been in the last 10 years.
