A 26-year-old Colombian man is dead after an encounter with ICE in Maine. Just days earlier, another father of three was killed in Texas.

We visited Senator Susan Collins’ office after standing with the people of Biddeford, where hundreds came together to demand accountability. While communities are calling for safety and dignity, Collins voted to support tens of billions more in funding for ICE.

Our communities deserve care, not terror. No more deaths. No more expanding ICE. Stand with immigrant communities and demand accountability.

A 28-year-old man died Tuesday morning after he was fatally hit by a truck as he was fleeing Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations agents in St. Augustine, Florida, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

This marks the third death involving ICE this week, and just one day after the one-year anniversary of the death of Jaime Alanís, an immigrant farmworker who died after falling from a greenhouse roof during an ICE raid of a California cannabis farm.

No details of the man have been released.

Anyone who supported Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker of the House is a complete and utter disgrace. This man has now said he will NOT be supporting the Khanna-Massie Amendment to strip Section 219 from the NDAA, which would marry the U.S. military to that of a genocidal state, Israel.

The NDAA did not pass the U.S. Senate today. We must keep up the pressure and mobilize the House to strip Section 219 entirely from the NDAA. We must not allow the AIPAC plantation—Hakeem Jeffries, Ritchie Torres, Gregory Meeks, and others—to surrender our sovereignty to a foreign government.
