@SjogFusionH2O At least 3 generations of women married into my dad's family, having the same name (great g'ma, g'ma & mom). There may have been a couple more earlier than that, I can't remember. It skipped my generation. I named my girl the same family name.

It upsets me that I allow the smoke to bother me. Through spurts, I've worked outside all day instead taking a few hours. Ugh. Found more berries & a few golden delicious to pick. Blueberries are done & no plums this year but thats ok. There's enough of other fruit to stay busy.

@JMcNutty23 Your pops & my gramma would have been friends. Back in the day, she was 80 & stealing my 19 yr old boyfriend. I was the granddaughter she called to take her to the male strip club as I didnt put an age on her. Now days, I try to live life young like she did. Its more fun.

Gone are the rays of the beautiful summer sun. Welcome hazy days of August wildfires. Current local fires are extinguished. These winds are brought to us from Spokane. Still waiting on safety status from displaced friends there. 🙏 Thankful the 100F/38C has changed to 94/34.
