A believer of good leadership.
Remember,
If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools.
As we commemorate Democracy Day, we must reflect not only on how far we have come as a nation but also on the challenges that still confront us. Insecurity, economic hardship, unemployment, poverty, and social divisions continue to test our resolve and place enormous burdens on millions of Nigerians.
Yet, even in the face of these challenges, we must not lose faith in our country or in the promise of democracy. Nation-building is a collective responsibility. It requires sacrifice, patriotism, tolerance, and a shared commitment to the common good.
Today, we honour the sacrifices of those who fought for the democratic freedoms we enjoy and recommit ourselves to the ideals of justice, accountability, inclusion, and good governance. We must continue to strengthen our democratic institutions, uphold the rule of law, and create opportunities that give every Nigerian a stake in the nation's future.
A greater Nigeria is possible, but it can only be achieved when we work together across ethnic, religious, political, and regional divides, united by our common destiny and shared aspirations.
May this Democracy Day renew our hope, strengthen our resolve, and inspire us to build the peaceful, prosperous, and united Nigeria that generations before us dreamed of and generations after us deserve.
Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria. – AWT
@Ajayiolubunmij@StatiSense Bro Tofa VP candidate is from where?.
More like Buhari vs Atiku 2019.
Osibanjo vs Obi as VP.
Buhari won the region his VP is from, while Atiku also won the region his VP is from.
Simple mathematics, we mustn't be tribal with everything.
I saw a post on YouTube on why Yahoo boys, internet fraudsters, become so popular and even socially acceptable in Nigeria.
The details of the video was so well researched. You'd think the fellow who did it is a Nigerian. He's a Caucasian. I then wonder how can white people know so much about Yahoo in Nigeria and still fall for the scam?
Anyway, in the video, the man detailed that one the reasons why internet scams is so popular in Nigeria is because of the cultural climate of acceptability: a lot of Nigerians see no problem with someone being an internet fraudsters, even though they may not be part of it.
Some landlords prefer them to working class folks because they only can pay the exorbitant and predatory fee he's asking.
Some churches like to have them around because they pay huge offerings and tithes.
And most especially, most ladies see them as a pathway to climb the socioeconomic ladder and access nice, shinny things.
All these points were laid out by the man in the video.
I was wowed.
He then concluded that as long as cultural acceptability of internet scams is still prevalent in Nigeria, the enterprise will continue to blossom.
You can't not ask a citizen of a nation not to vie for a legal office within his right in the constitution in any part of the nation.
He can't not vie for traditional positions that are not in his traditional right.
That's what he said.
You're misquoting him.
Fellow Nigerians
Today, we celebrate democracy and the enduring Nigerian spirit. For 27 unbroken years, since May 29, 1999, Nigerians have chosen their leaders through the ballot, witnessed peaceful transitions of power, and resolved disagreements in courtrooms and legislative chambers—not through violence. We have experienced the longest stretch of civilian rule in our history. Our democracy is not perfect, but it is ours, and we must continue to defend and strengthen it.
@Hope_Uzodimma1@OfficialAPCNg@officialABAT@imostatemedia Sir, can we talk about how we can industrialise ohaji/egbema region ?, they're close to the gas power plant and one of the biggest local government in the state. Land allocation for factories won't be much of an issue. Easy connection to Rivers and Owerri.
With our 375-380Mw gas plant in ohaji/Egbeme.
I think we should develop those areas into the industrial hub of the state.
It is easier for any factory built around this area to be connected to a 33Kv line.
The capital Owerri serves as a commercial base.
"Now in Imo state, we generate, transmit and distribute electricity. We have provided electricity to the various industries around the state capital, connected electricity to the senatorial headquarters of Imo State under phase 1. We at the state capital enjoy 24 hours electricity provided by Imo state."
- Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma speaking at the Invest Lagos 3.0 Opening Ceremony.
May Allah (SWT) accept our sacrifices, forgive our short comings, shower His endless Mercy Upon us.
May this Eid strengthen our faith, unite our hearts and bring lasting peace to our Ummah and the world at large.

I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced.
I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party.
There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion.
A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. This is not acceptable!
- Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi
I forgot to mention this here.
But the BAMSSA match was a success.
The day kicked off with the female match first before we rounded up with the male game.

I was thinking a week ago,
What if Nigeria did something like this to their refineries and kept 30% or so.
Help regulate the petrol and gas price with their stake while allowing investors to effectively manage these resources.
The reversal of the sale of those refineries by the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua administration (may Allah bless his soul) remains one of the most damaging economic decisions taken by any Nigerian government since 1999.
It cost the country billions of dollars in personnel expenses, Turnaround Maintenance (TAM), and lost productivity. It crippled growth across the oil and gas sector, scared away serious investors, and prolonged the deeply corrupt subsidy regime that drained public finances for years.
Nigeria paid heavily for preserving inefficient state control over assets that should have been modernized, privatized, and made productive long ago.
A Storm is Rising in Delta State
Yesterday, at the YPP National Secretariat, JEFFERSON ONYEBUCHI picked up the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms.
This is not just a candidacy. It is a movement. A movement to rewrite the political destiny of Delta State.

Kwankwaso is definitely not taking his hands away from the Neck of Atiku supporters. 😂
Man is steadily dropping lines that can send those guys to coma.
According to Kwankwaso, the OK movement is waxing stronger and the ticket is already settled. Both Obidients and Kwankwasiyya are working together with those in the diaspora.
2027 go too hot
Emeka Ihedioha in NDC is more likely to get him a win if he intends to go for the Imo state governorship position.
ADC, I'm not that sure.
Because Imo state will surely vote with emotions and they will vote NDC.
Emeka is already a household name, and NDC should be his best bet.
This emeka ihedioha is an unserious fellow...this nigga was being supported by PO back then in pdp during the tribunal and Atiku did not move one inch....today this guy still does not have sense and he is busy still pitching tent with Atiku ...such a dumb fellow ...no wonder Hope outsmart all of them...
If your issue is that it's the south's turn, you have more south option to vote.
If your issue is the north have been in the villa for just 10 years and south 18, vote north
If you want to make your research and read manifestos and vote, then do so.
The mission is still the same
Same thing I have been saying.
Atiku from NE
Obi from SE
Makinde from SW
SS jeopardised
NW jeopardised already.
No Buhari to pull much votes from the north.
The opposition parties have and great people of this country have options.
Seyi Makinde’s candidacy for Presidency is a welcome development for me.
Destroy every SouthWestern votes Lapite can get. Having fallen out with the North, let’s see the wonders He would do to have the required number of votes to win in 2027.
At this point, weaken all his strongholds, Tinubu’s affliction must not rise again.
