@Keirwales I was rediagnosed from Bipolar to BPD as a reason to discharge me without treatment. I wasn't suicidal. My mood stabilisers had been stopped abruptly after 18 years and I dared to challenge that decision. The suggestion that a BPD dx leads to treatment is laughable.

As I had not received the letter, how could I have made an appt that I then missed? I've been chasing for an appt for 2 years. They just make shit up to "manage" their caseload.

Would that be as distressing as using a private, locked cubicle in M&S? You were the one claiming this was about "lovely activities".

@itvnews Policy makers have forgotten things have changed significantly since they were young. In the '90s you could walk into any high-street temp agency and be hired on the spot with basic literacy/numeracy and no experience. Now it's 2 interviews and mandatory experience to serve food.

But the State Pension would cost more than double the UC standard allowance, and money matters more than people to this government.
