The reason why you do not simply take less successful, and yet highly intelligent/gifted, and perhaps even genius level thinker’s thoughts and ideas and pass them off as your own, is that you are taking thoughts that you are not capable of producing, and are pretending that they are your thoughts, resulting in false trust being placed in your abilities, by others.

People listen to you in an area of expertise that you do not in fact possess, as they are deceived into placing their trust, in your intelligence – but it’s not your intelligence. It’s someone else’s intelligence.

You may be intelligent in your own right, but not as the other is; or you would have thought of it yourself, wouldn’t you have?

And, I might add, some of us are a bit smarter than most.

I did not write average. I did not write smarter than the majority.

I wrote most.

It is, what it is.

When it comes down to it, in regard to those matters and topics pertaining to areas of expertise, you don’t know enough about what you’re talking about, in order to give sound counsel, when later consulted as a trusted source.

It is dangerous for a plumber to perform the work of a cardiovascular surgeon, and vice versa, though each works with liquids and pumps and tubes or pipes of a sort, and such.

Men like me have had quite enough of men and women of a sort who use us like this, while deceiving those who don’t know any better.

The quality of civilization is what really concerns me.

Things can be good. They truly can be good.

Not wonderful. Not utopia, but quite good.

On the other hand, however, they can be terrible, wickedly abominable and horrifically evil as we have seen throughout history.
