Allowing the building of the stadium would not only save metro money for roads and public transit it will also help generate revenue for those kinds of projects.

That's what's confounding me. This deal is objectively a really sweet deal as far as public/private partnerships go for the vast majority of Nashville, both soccer fans and non-soccer fans.
This whole stadium thing is stressing us out, let’s take one day to have some fun with it.
