In case you didn't know: Google Play quietly stopped eating chargeback costs.

Developers pay for most chargeback losses now. A Review Refund API launched July 1 so you can contest fraud with delivery and consumption evidence.

For a small app, a few chargebacks is the difference between a green day and a red one.

Google calls this "industry standard".

When starting work on a new feature, always begin with a Feature Requirements Document. This document should clearly define:

- What the feature is about
- How the feature improves the user experience
- Edge cases that should be considered
- Any additional context, assumptions, risks, or implementation notes that are valuable

Only after the Feature Requirements Document is completed and reviewed should development begin.

In case you didn't know: In order to contact users that use Apple’s private email relay service, you must register email sources that your organization will use for communication.

if useris using apple's option hide my email when signing up for your app, and you didn't do this, your marketing emails are not reaching that user
