damn, captchas are either becoming blatantly a crowdsourced training to teach a learning model how to see through glaze, or Al has gotten so good that captcha needs to do this so bots cant solve them now
Was looking through the pokemon leak files that people are talking about and found a page that had a typhlosion walk cycle ref in it and decided to see what it would look like if they were put together into a gif
this isnt meant to be gatekeepy or anything its mostly a dissonance between with how closely i tie pokemon to my identity and, (for an easy example) ppl who havent touched the series in 20 years bickering in reply chains over which pokemon "don't look like pokemon" these days
ive always had a complicated relationship with the pkmn "fandom" because i ain't ever seen another series where people with only the most passive engagement with it react with hysteria and entitlement because they liked it when they were 10
meanwhile im here with three pokesonas
@kerma4kHD this one is forgivable if the third usage is understood as a humorous sarcastic version of the original intent instead of the ONLY intent imo. but yeah
noticing an interesting phenomenon where the internet is rapidly accelerating the telephone game of slang definition to the point where in the span of a few months of a word's inception, two ppl will use a word in a convo/argument and each one thinks it means something different
@Auxyranny no it was a style guide reference for the anime that drew the outline of the thighs through the fur "shorts" like a cross section to show that he has thick thighs and not stick legs
a couple of days ago i found this bad boy in my old binder in borderline NM and um
im not really a collector anymore but i also have never sold a valuable pokemon card before... its kinda spooky
thinking about how the tweaking/void glitch in the gen 4 pokemon games is basically like doing donuts around this so fast that nevada either disappears or is replaced by kansas
i've noticed i'll sometimes use "you" and "u" in the same exact sentence but like, i use "you" when im stressing the word and i use "u" when the cadence flows right past the word
is it just me???
