With limited resources, I started in my mom's garage in Tembisa. Typed over 10 000 cv's. Making R180 to R 380 per month. No Funding. No work or business experience. 17 years later, the journey continues. I am Grateful to God and my my community. INTERCESSOR ARMY FRANCHISING 🖤
Being young is one of life’s greatest gifts.
It is a season filled with energy, potential, creativity and opportunity. The choices you make today have the power to shape the future you will live tomorrow.
Youth Day is more than a public holiday. It is a reminder of the courage and conviction of the youth of 1976, young people who stood for something greater than themselves and changed the course of history.
The question for today’s generation is simple: What are you standing for?
Live intentionally. Use your energy wisely. Invest in your growth. Build something meaningful. Because one day, you will look back on these years and either be grateful for how you used them or wish you had done more.
Make your youth count.

Speaking Opportunity | Youth Month
This Youth Month, I reflect on the delivered keynote address at the StepUp2 a Startup programme, an impactful initiative led by PrimeStars focused on empowering high school learners across South Africa through entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability.
The programme placed a strong focus on the green economy, agriculture and environmental sustainability.
As I reflected during the session, I could not help but think about the MILLIONS of young people who have collectively been impacted over the years through the work of PrimeStars under the leadership of Mr Martin Sweet as well as the SLEF (Sbusiso Leope Education Foundation) led by Sibusiso Leope. The work these two gentlemen and their organisations continue to do at grassroots level is creating opportunities, restoring hope and exposing young people to possibilities beyond their circumstances.
In the early years, I have had the privilege of volunteering my time and services towards both initiatives because I firmly believe that young people are the future of this country. When we invest in young people, we invest in the future of South Africa.
My message to every young person is simple:
Dream boldly. Start where you are. Use what you have. Build with purpose.

Never underestimate the power of showing up.
You may not always have all the resources, the perfect plan or complete certainty about the outcome. But showing up consistently, honouring your commitments and communicating effectively builds trust over time.
People remember reliability. They remember those who keep their word. They remember those who stay present even when things are not easy.
Success is not only about being seen. It is about being dependable, consistent and intentional in how you show up every day.
Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. The impact is often greater than you realise.

Make It Happen With What You Have
Success is not always about having more resources. Often, it is about being intentional with what you already have.
Use your mind effectively. Think deeper. Look beyond immediate rewards and focus on building something that creates value over the long term. The entrepreneurs who win are not always the ones with the most, but those who make the most of what they have.
Stop waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect opportunity or the perfect conditions. Start where you are, use what you have and make it happen.

Speaking Opportunity | Wits University Entrepreneurship Hub (EHub)
I had the privilege of addressing entrepreneurs and future business leaders at one of South Africa's leading institutions of higher learning during the TEA Growth Masterclass.
The experience reminded me just how far the journey has come. I started my entrepreneurial path at the age of 16 as an informal trader selling nomayini, with Grade 9 as my highest level of education. Like many entrepreneurs, I began with very little, but I was driven by a belief that hard work, determination and purpose could create opportunities beyond my circumstances.
Today, through the work of the TEA, we have supported and impacted more than 100,000 entrepreneurs across South Africa. Sharing our journey, the lessons we've learned, and our vision for building thriving, sustainable businesses was both a humbling and rewarding experience.
A sincere thank you to everyone who attended, engaged and contributed to the discussion. Together, we continue to champion entrepreneurship as a powerful vehicle for economic growth and community transformation.
God's Grace.

In this thought-provoking discussion, I explore the role of automation in economic development and highlights how government can play a more intentional role in helping consumers support locally developed brands and businesses. By creating demand for homegrown products and services, governments can help businesses scale, strengthen local industries and unlock broader economic participation.
As technology continues to reshape industries, the conversation is no longer about whether automation will happen, but how it can be leveraged to build stronger, more inclusive economies.
