The Gospel: how to be saved and to walk once you are.
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." Isaiah 30:15
#Browns GM Andrew Berry shook every player, coach and staff hand - told them great season - before entering the locker room after their loss to the Texans.

For me, biggest surprise of day 2 is how high inline TEs went. Guys like Boerkircher, Kacmarek, Klein went 3 rounds higher than the consensus big boards projected.
We knew the league was trending towards heavier personnel, but this still was unexpected.
I'm pretty sure we can find a Defensive coordinator to run a 1-gap Wide-9 front when he has Garrett, Graham, Collins, Wright, Hall, McGuire, Huntington...
The relationship between the #Browns and DC Jim Schwartz will “need significant repairing” after he was passed over for the HC job, sources tell me. Schwartz is currently under contract but was anticipating getting the HC job.
He didn’t… and now there’s work to do.
The Browns had a chance to at least try something interesting with a Udinski or a Scheelhaase and instead they went with a 60 year old first time HC who hated being in Cleveland like 5 years ago
Should Jim Schwartz take the job?
He's in an untouchable position now. The next head coach eats the blame for preexisting offensive woes.
Just let some new guy take the hit and land the job a year from now. Maybe even with a year's worth of offensive development and a new QB.
No way. You let Monken take the fall for the offensive growing pains and end up interim head coach in week 16.
Or, if Monken succeeds, you end up a head coach on some other team in a couple years.

If Jimmy truly insisted on Schwartz as DC along with saying so publicly, he completely handed Schwartz all the leverage.
Might as well have given him the job outright.
Instead, he made it impossible to hire another candidate.
