A homeless man sitting at the bus stop right in front of City Hall. This is absolutely disgusting & employees should not be expected to tolerate these conditions.
Mentally ill person roaming outside of a government building. But again, higher ups don’t see this as a safety issue & except employees to just deal with it.
According to Karen Bass, employers, department heads - this is not a safety concern/safety issue. Their advice when homeless people are assaulting workers? “Remain vigilant & don’t go outside”
I would love to not go into dtla, but they are forcing us to go in.
@MissJilianne Wow….Hollywood Blvd is worse than i imagined. I’ve only been there twice my entire life & it felt dirty, unsafe, and filled with homeless people. But this is way worse.
@spencerpratt I think it’s ridiculous that I live in LA county, but because I’m not in the city of LA, I can’t vote for you 😭 what happens in LA has a direct effect on me too!
@WallStreetApes This is at a bus stop in front of main City Hall. How is this safe for people who take public transportation? The other day, I’m sure I witnessed a drug deal that happened right on the steps of City Hall
@WallStreetApes This is when he was told to leave his original spot & he made his way up to this quad area.
With all the attacks in the past year, I can’t even walk to work without fearing for my safety
@WallStreetApes This is at the DTLA farmer’s market, behind City Hall. Employees who work in this area has to constantly deal with this unsafe environment

An LAPD officer told a mentally ill man to leave a busy area & to go towards an office complex instead. That doesn’t solve the problem — it just relocates it.
This kind of erratic behavior is how employees end up getting attacked.

Another mentally ill person sitting in a high traffic area with vendors & employees.
Why is this not a safety concern?
With all the stabbings lately, how do we know he won’t suddenly stab someone?

Another snippet of the person who was shouting erratically before I began recording.
This person is sitting in front of vendors where lots of people walk by. With so many recent attacks, how can we always assume they’re harmless?

Before I began recording, this person was shouting & not a single person batted an eye - it’s crazy that this type of behavior is “normal”.
In this video, this person wasn’t talking to any vendor, just to herself.
