Shutting down a city of 20 million people to clean their immediate environment is parochial and lacks imagination.
For emphasis: the issue is not so much about cleaning your environment (which is great) but the logistics of waste management - starting from the collection, to disposal and recycling.
Anything short of rethinking this system is cosmetic and unimaginative.
We all have PVCs but voters are disenfranchised, voting processes with so many exploitable loopholes and a very opaque counting system. Without proper reform we are all writing an exam that has been marked in advance
"It's not who votes but who counts the votes that matter"
@moon6eam_ I understand we have shortcomings in proper nutrition but by no means should companies be able to profit from it and still add to the nutritional deficiencies
@moon6eam_ Someone sells you a scrap car that has been revived and refurbished with some unfixable mechanic damage.
You buy the car as it "looks" like what you need and falls in your price range.
Will I blame your driving when an accident happens.
Today being the 18th of March 2026, I am pleased to state that I have instituted an action for the enforcement of my fundamental right to dignity of human person against Engr Morakinyo Goodness Proprietor of @valenciaibadan for his acts of gross abuse and โฆโฆ
Do you know what it takes for bandits to capture a corps member, record him being flogged, post it online, and demand โฆ5 million as ransom and not a single govt official has addressed it?

Michelangelo was paid today's equivalent of roughly $650,000 โ $750,000 USD for the Sistine Chapel ceiling, which took over 4 years to complete.
Leonardo da Vinci was paid today's equivalent of $110,000โ$120,000 USD per year and given housing and full funding by the Duke to paint The Last Supper.
To bring back the beauty and intricacies of art, our society needs to see the value in it and be ready to pay for it. Art is not dead.
Budgeting Just N127 Million for SUV for Presidential Villa Unacceptable - Shehu
The renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu is alive. We are happy that even the villa is being treated equally with other ministers. However I will join my colleague in rejecting N127 million for SUV in the villa, it cannot buy even a bulletproof 'tokunbo'. We must project the image of Nigeria positively in the committee of nations
