Thank you @AmyMek for sharing my comments about the new mosque approved by Frisco City Council. As a pastor, I am deeply concerned about the spread of Islam in our back yard. As Christians, we must love pre-believers while at the same time rejecting their false beliefs.

Pastor Brandon Burden, who has ministered in Frisco for 25 years, stood before City Council this week and spoke with both love and unflinching truth:

“As a Christian, my Bible commands me to love all people… I love the Muslim people, and God loves the Muslim people… but I am concerned about their ideology.”

“If Muslims move to America, that is the American dream… but they need to assimilate into the culture and not take it over.”

“Islam is more than a religion. It is both a religion and a state. It is a sociopolitical system that uses a deity to advance its agenda…

It divides the world into two spheres locked in perpetual conflict… Jihad is imposed on the unwilling… This is fundamentally opposed to the First Amendment.”

He pointed out the staggering numbers already in Texas:

“Dallas-Fort Worth alone has 74 mosques, Houston has 95, Austin 14 - 235 mosques statewide.

If we approve mosque number 236, we reach the point where we can no longer protect our way of life or our constitutional rights.”

Frisco pastors are rising up. Real Texans are speaking boldly.

The fight to protect our Constitution and our culture is far from over.

🚨Some important clarifications....

🔺There are over 300 mosques and they are growing rapidly

🔺 Over 109 verses command violence and war against non-Muslims simply for not believing.

Quran 8:12 - “Strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them” (those who disbelieve).

Quran 9:5 - “Slay the idolaters wherever you find them… besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush.”

Quran 9:29 - Fight Christians and Jews until they pay the Jizya tax “with willing submission” and feel “subdued.”

Quran 4:89 - “Seize them and slay them wherever you find them” if they turn away from Islam.

Quran 2:191-193 - “Kill them wherever you find them… fight them until there is no more disbelief and worship is for Allah alone.”

Quran 47:4 - “When you meet the unbelievers, smite at their necks… bind a bond firmly on them.”

Quran 5:33 - Punish those who oppose Allah by murder, crucifixion, or cutting off hands and feet.
