Basic things I’ll do in Ohio to bring down costs quickly: produce more energy to reduce electric bills, roll back property taxes, permit more home construction, & crush Medicaid fraud while putting savings in the pockets of law-abiding Ohioans.
LB Nick Herbig and the #Steelers have agreed on a four-year, $100 million extension that includes $42 million guaranteed, per @AdamSchefter and me.
The deal for Herbig, off a career-high 7.5 sacks, was negotiated by Joe DiBenedetto, Andy Simms and Ken Sarnoff of @1OF1FOOTBALL.
Iran really wants to make a deal, and it will be a good one for the U.S.A. and those that are with us. But don’t the Dumocrats, and various seemingly unpatriotic Republicans, understand that it is MUCH tougher for me to properly do my job and negotiate, when political hacks keep negatively “chirping,” at levels never seen before, over and over again, that I should move faster, or move slower, or go to war, or not go to war, or whatever. Just sit back and relax, it will all work out well in the end - It always does! President DJT

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump announces legislation has ADVANCED to make PERMANENT Daylight Saving Time through the Sunshine Protection Act — and demands Congress make it LAW 🔥
No more time changes soon!
"This is so important in that Hundreds of Millions of Dollars are spent every year by people, Cities, and States, being forced to change their Clocks. Many of these Clocks are located in Towers, and the cost of renting, or using, Heavy Equipment to do this twice a year is prohibitive!"
"The House will be attaching The Sunshine Protection Act to “The Highway Bill.” Great work by Troy Nehls, and all of the Members who voted, as well, for Railway Safety."
"I am going to work very hard to see The Sunshine Protection Act signed into Law. It’s time that people can stop worrying about the “Clock,” not to mention all of the work and money that is spent on this ridiculous, twice yearly production."
"It will also be a very nice WIN for the Republican Party. Take it! We are going with the far more popular alternative, Saving Daylight, which gives you a longer, brighter Day — And who can be against that — This is an easy one! Thank you to everyone who supported this important Bill, and especially Chairman Brett Guthrie and Vern Buchanan. President DONALD J. TRUMP"
Chris Boswell on his extension with the Steelers:
“it means everything to me and my family you know just to continue my career here meant a lot.I played a little bit before here but I don't really consider anywhere else but here home.”

The taxpayer is not a piggy bank to be bilked. We will comprehensively review Ohio’s $40BN+ Medicaid expenditures and aggressively prosecute illegal abuses of the program. That starts in early 2027 & we won’t hold back.
🚨“WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Office Members, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is SAFE and SOUND!” - President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸
President Trump just brought tears to millions
“I am PROUD to join Christians around the world to celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection.”
God is Good! 🙏
🚨 Ohio could become the FIRST state in America to abolish property taxes entirely.
A grassroots group led by Brian Massie and Leonard Gilbert is collecting signatures for a constitutional amendment to eliminate all residential and commercial property taxes — and put it on the November ballot.
What started as protecting seniors from being taxed out of their lifelong homes has exploded into a statewide movement after lawmakers refused to even meet with them.
Massie says his own taxes jumped 40% in 10 years.
Gilbert hears daily from seniors on fixed incomes watching their bills skyrocket.
They need ~413,000+ valid signatures by July to qualify. (They’re aiming higher for a cushion.)
Opponents warn it would blow a $24 billion hole in the state budget — threatening schools, police, fire, EMS, and rural services.
Gov. DeWine floated raising the sales tax to 18-20% to fill the gap.
Supporters fire back: Cut spending first. No new taxes. Lawmakers get a full year to reform before collections stop.
This could be one of Ohio’s biggest ballot fights in decades.
Would you vote to end property taxes?

Stephen A. Smith calls Marco Rubio “the adult in the room,” saying his experience and leadership make him a formidable candidate against a weak Democratic field:
“Marco Rubio is the adult in the room. I think he’s incredibly qualified. Obviously, he’s been a senator for a long time before he became Secretary of State, and now he’s the National Security Advisor to the President of the United States. He knows what he’s talking about. He knows Capitol Hill. He knows the people, and he’s not running up against somebody like me, in all honesty. Because of that, you know what? I think he would be a prime candidate, considering the candidates that the Democrats would roll out there. If it’s not somebody like Josh Shapiro, I don’t see how it’s going to happen, because I don’t see anybody else in the Democratic Party in line to go up against him. I don’t.”
NET GAIN: Veteran NBA player Tristan Thompson says he loves what Trump's doing for U.S. when asked his thoughts on the president's immigration crackdown.
Thompson, who was born in Canada but became a U.S. citizen in 2020, says he believes people should immigrate "the right way" and decisions should be made case by case.
@MattBaxendell DeWine is a Rino. He has cost Ohio citizens Millions. From property taxes , higher Electric and Natural Gas Bills . He also raised taxes on Gasoline. Ohio has a 4 billion dollar Rainy Day fund. Where is all the lottery and gambling Money???
Time to stand up for ourselves.
@DesireeAmerica4 The courts in Ohio have ruled that property taxes collected for Schools are unconstitutional. The state of Ohio has ignored this ruling. Now the people of Ohio will do something about it.
The Ohio government is officially panicking over a massive grassroots movement to completely abolish property taxes.
Governor Mike DeWine just warned that eliminating the tax would devastate local schools and libraries, threatening that the state would have to jack up the sales tax to 20% just to cover the gap.
But Ohio homeowners are fighting back with one simple reality: If you can lose your fully paid-off house for not paying the government, you don't actually own it, you are just renting it.
The state already collects billions in income and regular sales taxes. Instead of threatening us with 20% sales tax rates, the government needs to figure out how to balance its own budget without holding our homes hostage.
