@JoeLongBalls It's just narcissism. My boomer dad could never wrap his head around the idea that the high teenager behind the counter making minimum wage could make an honest mistake. Instead he took every mild inconvenience as an intentional "fuck you".
@punished_dorf I like to think Zhuge Liang would smile approvingly seeing me use my flying lord to bait the enemy into using all their arrows before a siege.
@GamesNosh Not much of a scam. McCulloch knew it wasn't the tower bridge, he just needed a gimmick to get people to move to the town he built. It ended up working pretty well.
@AnimeSerbia Imagine a future where great psychiatric breakthroughs for this affliction are achieved through the reservoir of knowledge from the longest case study known to man on the topic, "Chris Chan: A Comprehensive History"
@punished_dorf Yeah that kind of detachment isn't useful imo, just scary. I'm sorry that happened. A buddy of mine made strides by dosing .5g of psilocybin occasionally in lieu of therapy. It helped him get over childhood trauma and identify his martyr complex +how it was affecting his wife.
@BokoTheSlut @dyingscribe You're right, I should censor my private dinner conversations at a restaurant because some schzio might be eavesdropping and get spoiled on an insanely prolific movie from 1941.
@ChristinaTasty As other people have pointed out, it's more an issue on how the time is used. These two games can both be completed in ~10 hours. Much like Hotline Miami, SotC is short but I never felt like it was wasting my time. I can't say the same about The Last Guardian.
@dyingscribe No amount of time is acceptable for some of these people. I had someone get mad at me in public for dropping the rosebud "spoiler" from citizen kane last week.
