Last night, members and visitors enjoyed our annual installation convocation in the redecorated temple at Sidcup, which included E. Comp. C. Clark being installed as First Principal and now Excellent Companion Michael Thomas installed as Third Principal.

Members of Burnt Ash Lodge & @BurntAshChapter were delighted to support E. Comp. & R. W. Bro. Andrew Waddington, as he was installed as GSupt in and over and ProvGM for @westkentmasons by the Most Excellent Second Grand Principal & Past Deputy Grand Master, Sir David Wootton.

Last Monday we welcomed the Grand Superintendent who presented us with the West Kent Membership Gold Award; one of our number was presented with a SGC certificate; and the highlight was an original talk on the meaning of the Exaltation ceremony by E. Comp. Conrad Donaldson. #HRA

Our Burns Night 2025 meeting will live long in the memory, as we initiated three candidates, welcomed two joining members, proposed another candidate for initiation and were honoured with an official visit from the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master. #FactaNonVerba

Tonight we Raised Bro. L. Bowden to the Third Degree; admitted a Joining member and received proposals for 4 candidates. We also remembered W. Bro. K. Lee, who passed to the Grand Lodge above aged 98 and presented a 40-year long service certificate to our Chaplain. #FactaNonVerba

Our 137th Regular & Installation Convocation: We remembered the Chapter’s first ever Exaltee, E. Comp. Ken Lee and saw a number of members progress up the offices. We are most grateful to the support of our visitors. The Principals look forward to a good year ahead.

Another great evening, as we welcomed 5 non-Masons to our summer social last night. W. Bro. Brian White gave a very touching speech to those assembled, and in particular to our new Master, his nephew W. Bro. Matthew Stevenson. Long may Freemasonry thrive. #FactaNonVerba

The day after our installation meeting, our DC W. Bro. Alan Hyland and Secretary W. Bro. Charles Clark were on duty at the Provincial Investiture, where our IPM W. Bro. Michael Thomas received his well deserved appointment to Provincial Grand Steward. A great day was had by all.

Last night, over 70 brothers turned out to support W. Bro. Matthew Stevenson be installed as Master of Burnt Ash Lodge. The ceremony was performed impeccably by W. Bro. Michael Thomas, after which the brethren retired for a most festive of festive boards. #FactaNonVerba
