I watched enough of these videos and wanted to know so I built a very simple design with a fidget spinner. They spring off at first but you have to keep them close enough to resist eachother. And that same distance to attract. So they get caught in the magnetic field no matter what.

No probably close to around 1k printed. There’s roughly 600 psa submissions for Mickey, he’s been out almost a year and going for 15-20k atm.. people would grade this if they have it. I’ll give close to 50% of them havnt been graded. Putting us close to the 1000 mark.

These are extremely rare when it comes to trading cards.

These graphics were “hyper realistic” in 1998..
people complaining about the way this game looks don’t actually love the game. They love their nostalgia.

This isn’t a “remake”.. It’s just the OoT. This will be an entirely new game, with a familiar story. If Nintendo delivers it can take game of the year. Like many Zelda games have done in the past.

There’s a Zelda movie coming out next year. When it comes to the movies plot, it will most likely be closest to OoT. This game will be peak Zelda. They didn’t show gameplay yet because this is a big deal. I think Nintendo understands how perfect this has to be.

Ya, like I’m well aware OoT and Majoras mask look identical and a few other examples… but the fact that art styles have changed many times was the point I was making. Could have worded it better.

My new point though is… OoT had extreme realism as an art style when it first dropped. It’s just technology sucked at the time. But if you were there in 98… shit looked like gta 6 at that point in time.

My wife, kids, and I play a trading card game called Lorcana every night together before bed. We just pulled the rarest card in the game. It’s worth about 1500. Kinda want to sell it for btc, but I also want to keep it because we do collect these cards too.
What do you all think?

Lorcana killed any remaining intrest from the player base with the fabled set. The reprints and sudden rotation really killed the interest in the game. But it also brought the collectability interest to its highest levels because of the iconic Mickey. Since fabled the player base has started to come back and the game is in a really healthy spot. Making the game playable and collectible.

Basically what I’m getting at, is Lorcana was on the brink of death, fabled made things even worse. And now a 3 week old card is selling for 15k… if Lorcana wasn’t going to last, it wouldn’t have survived fabled.

Pokemon is the largest single IP..
Disney owns many IP’s..
Mickey Mouse and friends IP and Winnie the Pooh IP combined are bigger than pokemon. This doesn’t include Toy Story, princesses, lion king, etc…
Disney is passing out promo cards at their parks, cruises, movie theaters.. they have the ability to grab people outside of the TCG community.
Disney has been a been a collectable for easily over 60+ years, people that don’t collect tcg’s will still want to collect this game simply because it’s Disney.

I think we’re in a new era for tcg’s. It used to be pokemon magic and yugioh. Everything else dies eventually. But Lorcana, one piece, and rift bound sure seem to be games that will last through the bubble burst.
