The team have started working on some new areas within the Q Station Manly removing environmental weeds including lantana, asparagus fern and african olive. They found lots of regenerating banksias within the removed weeds - yay!

The team had a really interesting and educational day, learning about organic and sustainable farming practices. There was lots of vegetable harvesting, weeding and clearing, then feeding the chickens the weeds so nothing was wasted.

The team have been busy planting hundreds of plants at St Matt's Farm Northern Beaches Council. Hopefully the rain next week will make them very happy plants!

The Bushlink team is continuing to celebrate inclusion and environmental awareness with the students from Kinma School in 2019. The students joined the team for lots of conversations and to aid the removal of environmental weeds such as privet from the school grounds.

The team have been sharing their knowledge of weeds and native plants with the students at Dee Why Public School. There was a lot of learning about edible plants and some of their medicinal purposes.

Our team recently worked at Mowbray Public School for the first time to help remove seed heads from their gardens. Thanks to the Principal and P&C members for inviting us to your school and working alongside us! We had a great time!
