@pennykittle Yesterday, a student on campus for the first time all year (for STAAR) asked, “Do we have a library?” We had to take a trip down memory lane. She said, “That should just be turned into a classroom.” I guess I should be proud of my classroom library, but it was a reality check.

@MartinOdimaJr I was fortunate to have a Kindergarten co-teacher, a 1st grade co-teacher and my 2nd grade teacher all be African-American. Their influence is still felt.
