@DrumCare It's an old Gretsch maple snare. Guessing from around 1976. I would like a darker (like walnut color) stain, with lacquer. Let me know if you need more info.

@ToSleepOnceMore @MapexDrumsUSA I still had to use some of the usual tricks (seating head, cross tuning). I found the 16" floor tom easier to tune than the 12" rack.

@ToSleepOnceMore @MapexDrumsUSA I have that set (White Marine) and it is beautiful. The SoniCLEAR bearing edges isn't a big improvement over the standard 45 cut, IMO.
