Major life hack: Don't complain, ever. Nobody likes a complainer. They drain the energy of everyone around them. It's exhausting spending time around someone who constantly complains about things outside their control. If it's within your control, go do something about it. If it's not, you're just wasting energy thinking about it. Complaining gives too much power to the thing. Take back that power.
Just realized I’m really getting older. I’m not a teenager anymore. I have real responsibilities, a pet, an apartment, and a college degree… and somehow it still feels like I’m just getting started.
I need the girls to get DISGUSTED by a man never buying flowers, planning dates, building a bond, investing in & pouring love + effort into a good hearted woman that deserves it. GET DISGUSTED.
you can literally wake up one day and be like “actually, fuck everything ab my past and the self-sabotaging identity i had” and decide to live an entirely new life and be someone who always fucking wins. it doesn’t take a feeling or breakthrough moment or epiphany. only a decision.
I don’t want my daughter to be like me. I want her to speak up sooner. Walk away faster. Trust herself deeper. Apologize less. Take up more space. Ask bigger questions. Dream louder. And if that means she becomes everything I wasnt… GOOD!
I dont date men without fathers, and I don’t date men with kids. I don’t date men in addiction. I don’t date men that hate women. I don’t date ugly men. And I don’t date men that can’t lead better than me. Thinking my singleness is ever a man’s decision is where you fcked up.
Women get prettier when our nervous system is regulated & we're not living in chronic stress. Longer hair, shinier hair, softer + glowier skin, no bloating, no breakouts, no mood swings. We’re our best version when we rest more, slow down, spend more time in the sun, eat warm foods, dance, frolic... Biologically we're wired to be whimsical
I take my vitamins.
I work out 3-5 days a week
I have an amazing skin care routine
I love doing my makeup
I make enough money now to look and feel a certain way I’d be mad at me too
Please raise your daughters to have hobbies, interests, and academics...so when they become adults and middle-aged women they have something to talk about besides a man.
“Hey, babe. Remember when you took me on tour a long time ago and you had me opening up for you? Remember that song I used to go crazy every night? Play that sh*t.”
A$AP Rocky to Rihanna before performing “F**kin' Problems” at his concert last night.
Go deeper in your relationship with God. God knows the perfect version of the woman he's called you to be. The only way to become that woman is by growing in your relationship with God and seeking God above all else ❤️
