Definitely having to move away from @virginmedia 🤦‍♀️

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@virginmedia But they are also now saying we owe money....I don’t understand why we would be told it had been paid and therefore to stay the 30days as it’s been paid for, and now being told we owe £107?!

[Jango @ButterballJango]

So @virginmedia - rang to cancel and was told ‘no problem, call back tomorrow because you’ll not get a cancellation fee as you’ll be out of contract’. Called back - ‘oh you’ve got to stay a month’...the other person never mentioned it.....’oh I’m sorry - they should have......

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@virginmedia So would we then receive part of our money back also? As they previously stated that we had paid for the month, which was £107?

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@SkyUK I’ve sent you a PM 👌

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@SkyUK Domestic use.

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@SkyUK Been offered 350 internet, sports channels and basically what we need via a work offer for £70 a month....

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@pubester @SkyUK 👌

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@virginmedia If you listen to the call you will be able to hear that we ask this on the call, their reply is that it would be cancelled the following day when we call up and the only reason to do so would be to not incur any further charges.

[Jango @ButterballJango]

@virginmedia Yes but on the phone call we had previously mentioned we want to cancel. We were told to call back and on that call we were told that we were now out of contract and t would be best to call back the following day as it meant we would have no charge......

[Jango @ButterballJango]

And now this morning receive a letter saying we owe £107 and in arrears? How can that payment have been made apparently over a week and a half ago and now a letter dated the 27th is here.

[Jango @ButterballJango]

......what I’d suggest is to stay as you e already paid the £107 so you may as well stay the rest of the month’.....ok so it’s been paid and now I need to stay? ‘Yeah because it’s been paid so maybe not a good time to cancel - make it the end of the month’....

Hi @thetrainline - I’m just wondering if you could tell me what train would have been on Saturday 15th September New-Edinburgh? It was delayed and I can’t find out who we went with as my booking doesn’t say on the app. It was the 7.38am 👍
