Thanks for your overwhelming kindness in honouring our beloved patron, Dr Lowitja O’Donoghue AC CBE DSG.
The family have requested in lieu of flowers, to please consider a donation to the Lowitja O’Donoghue Foundation: https://t.co/oh2ZIj78AZ
Thank you.
@Fiskinexile As I said earlier the Voice legislation will be developed based on the design principles (which incl being accountable and transparent to public) and research. The current state is not improving outcomes so the Voice is an opportunity to change that
Let’s dispel the myth about Indigenous expenditure…. A Voice to parliament will not only improve outcomes for Indigenous people but also create efficiencies in govt spending!!!! #voteyes#VoiceToParliament

@Fiskinexile Ultimately the Australian Parliament will be responsible for drafting the legislation to outline the form and function of the Voice, informed by multiple reports including Calma/Langton, Referendum Council etc, with input from all Australians as is the case for any legislation
@Fiskinexile Here are the Voice design principles developed to inform the legislation drafted post the referendum - https://t.co/ssYRJkPUpv
What we do know is the current state isn’t working to improve outcomes so a Yes vote gives us opportunity for real change

... "even slight improvements in the efficiency of the federal government’s existing spend on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander wellbeing would generate substantial savings," @australian@ButtonSelwyn1#VoiceToParliament#BetterOutcomes

"A Voice would provide an opportunity for our communities to publicly hold governments to account on their commitments and to showcase 'what works',"

This is what happens when you give local communities Voice. The next step is to connect real change to a national platform through a Voice to Parliament!!! #voteyes#voicetoparliament @ulurustatement https://t.co/0gaaVKSMlK
“Referendums are not about detail. The Australian public are not being asked to vote on the model. The Constitution where the big laws are, we’re talking about the principles, the idea of what is being proposed.”
