The deadline for the Tender process is end of March 2023. The BVCF in conjunction with the SBP shareholders will take a decision, and hopefully the construction of the Processing Plant can start in May 2023.

Your Task Team is running and has just concluded its first meeting for this year.
The (RFP) for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the Plant was sent out in early December 2022. Three companies attended an on-site inspection on 25 January 2023.

Savanna Beef Processors successfully raised an additional N$27.560 million from 165 participating producers in its Second Round of Funding
The investment in the development of a new beef export processing facility in Namibia, raised an additional 13.8% of its equity target.

The overwhelming producer support saw Savanna raising in excess of 80% of its equity need from producers, completely surpassing our greatest expectations. The N$173 million raised has turned an idea into a reality, ever increasing the prospects of Savanna. Romé Mostert. Cirrus.

Dear members of the Beef Value Chain Forum, the second private placement has been concluded yesterday. Applications for an additional N$ 23 million have been received from 158 applications (of which 51 were from existing shareholders and 107 new applications). Thank You All.

Update:
BVCF members and Cirrus Capital concluded the road show for the second private placement during the last week.
From the 75 applications received in the second round, 53 were from new shareholders contributing N$14,118 mill of the total sum of N$16,520 mill.

"We are out of the blocks with an excellent start on the first day with an additional N$12,258 million from 39 producers. This brings us to a total of N$158,3 mill. We have thus passed the strategic mark of 75% of producer-owned shares," said Mecki Schneider, the BVCF chairman.

Shareholders of Savanna Beef Processors Ltd have been notified of the opening of the 2nd Private Placement Offer, from the 19 August 2022 and closing 9 September 2022. Cirrus Capital is the corporate advisor to Savanna and is once again facilitating the Private Placement process.

During the BVCF meeting on 14 July, the committee decided to open another window of share sales from 19 August to 9 September 2022, to give producers an additional opportunity to buy shares. Only N$ 54 million shares will be available and will be sold on a first come basis.

The first chapter has been written: Savanna Beef Processors Limited is registered. To this, registered Namibian beef producers were invited to invest by buying shares. Let us again take this opportunity to thank everyone for the tremendous support and drive in this initiative.

The project raised more than 70% of its equity target from beef producers and is currently developing a strategy to fund the remaining share capital.
