What a great inauguration for our team at this year's @BVM_workshop! We had an amazing time and to top it all off, Jonathan Ganz just won 1st place in the Best Scientific Paper #award! Congratulations, Jonathan! Thanks to all contributors of this success!
Very nice talk today at @BVM_workshop by Jonas Ammeling from my grou p at @th_ingolstadt. In brief, he showed that survival prediction using only tiny (0.6mm) tissue cores works similarly well than the prediction from tabular data using established methods. (1/2)
Great talk by Frauke Wilm about the CATCH dataset on #BVM2023. Joint work between the groups of @k_breininger, @maier_ak, our medical partners from @FU_Berlin and us. We are working on more large-scale and high-quality datasets in #pathology!

After @MAubreville has kicked of digital pathology in the previous session at @BVM_workshop by talking about automatic detection of atypical mitotic figures, Frauke Wilm is the first speaker for the dedicated "Digital pathology" session now. 🔬
very proud: Anna-Maria received the competitive BVM Award for her amazing MSc thesis conducted in my lab 🫶 Great job in explaining how we can only use endoscopic images to compute the fundamental oscillation frequency of vocal folds👍 @BVM_workshop @UniFAU#FAUproud
