I understand the frustration, and honestly, I deserve it.

When I made my decision, I believed it was the right one for my career and my future. But I also know football isn’t just about decisions on paper, it’s about people, passion, and the trust fans place in you. And in that sense, I didn’t handle things the way I should have.

To the Arsenal supporters, I have nothing but respect. The way you back your club, your players, your identity… it doesn’t go unnoticed. I should have shown more clarity, more honesty, and more appreciation for what it would have meant to you.

I’m not here to make excuses. I stand by my choices, but I also accept the disappointment they caused. Sometimes you follow your instinct, and sometimes you reflect and realise the impact of it after.

All I can say is this I respect this club, I respect the fans, and I respect the badge more than my actions may have shown.
