🚨 BREAKING: Southampton have been expelled from the playoffs by an Independent Disciplinary Commission after the club “admitted to multiple breaches of EFL regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other clubs’ training.”
Middlesbrough will now face Hull City on May 23.
Saints also receive a four-point deduction for the 2026/27 season.
Southampton admitted breaches of the observation of training sessions within 72 hours of a scheduled match. The fixtures against Oxford United in December 2025, Ipswich Town in April 2026 and Middlesbrough in May 2026 all cited.
Saints have a right to appeal and with parties intending to resolve on May 20.
I thought all Arsenal fans were north Londoners, so shouldn’t make a difference.
I get more “support your local” shouts from them lot than anyone else 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Piggybacking onto what others have said already, but that Arsenal-Burnley game being moved to Monday night is scandalous.
Travel plans (booked months in advance) will now be affected, people need to leave early on a work/school night + they kill the vibes of the final home game.
That club email stinks @LFC@LFCHelp
The planned action will amplify
If it affects the onfield behaviour, so be it, your fault not ours.
