You’re not healed when you wholly understand yourself but when you don’t matter to yourself anymore. attachment to yourself as an individual is an incredibly fragile and stressful bottleneck in the psyche
This line from Atomic Habits isn't ready to leave my head:
"It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire.
To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment."
Stop doubting yourself. The fear you feel is a "script" you keep repeating in your head. And it's a script of failure. Reverse it. Think about winning only. Be delusionally optimistic. Reprogram your thoughts to only think about success. I promise it will change your life.

there is something deeply frightening in the simplicity of the regrets people realize in their old age, where most of what they regret is just two or three actions away from living a completely different life.
Major cheat code in life: One priority per day. Not three. Not five. One. Pick the single thing that, if completed, makes the day a win regardless of what else happens.
Protect two hours for it. Most people go entire weeks without finishing anything that actually matters because everything feels equally urgent.
ADHD people screenshotting and bookmarking everything because they re afraid of losing ideas, only to never look at them again because the archive is now its own overwhelming problem.
You should study what makes you defensive. The topic you avoid, the joke that irritates you, the question that feels insulting, the feedback you instantly reject. Defensiveness is usually the guard dog sitting in front of a weakness you have not trained yourself to face.
if you spend all day at a fish market, you’ll leave smelling like fish, even if you never touched one
but spend your day in a perfume shop and you’ll carry the scent even if you didn’t buy anything, that’s how environment works. it rubs off, whether you realize it or not. stay around complainers and everything starts to look negative. stay around excuse makers and growth feels optional but get around people who move with purpose, you’ll feel it.
get around people who live in gratitude, you’ll start to see differently. the scent of your environment will always follow you.
