Every African-owned business carries more than a product or service.
When we choose to support African-owned businesses, we’re not just spending money.
We’re investing in our people.
We’re keeping our culture visible.
We’re strengthening our community.
And when African businesses become easier to discover, it becomes easier for our communities to support them.
That's the movement we're building with ByAfrik.
Be part of it.

Meet Sourou-François PAROUTCHIA (@SParoutchia), an African-born immigrant in the United States and the founder of ByAfrik.
Living in the diaspora, Sourou-François experienced firsthand how difficult it could be to find the products, services, and African-owned businesses that help us stay connected to home.
But his experience wasn’t unique.
Across the diaspora, many Africans face the same challenge: the businesses and services we need are out there, but finding them isn’t always easy.
That experience sparked a question:
What if there was an easier way for Africans in the diaspora to find African-owned businesses, and for those businesses to be found by the communities they serve?
That question became the beginning of ByAfrik.
Built by Africans.
For Africans in the diaspora.
For a community that deserves to find each other more easily.
This is just the beginning.
Welcome to ByAfrik.

Sometimes, finding a taste of home, a familiar service, or an African-owned business you can trust shouldn’t require endless searching.
Yet for many Africans living in the diaspora, that’s still the reality.
The businesses exist. The community is here. What’s missing is an easier way to connect the two.
That’s why we’re building BYAfrik — to make discovering African-owned businesses, products, and services around you simpler.
Because wherever life takes us, staying connected to our culture and community should be easier. 🌍
BYAfrik is coming September 1.
Be among the first to discover what’s around you.

Your customers are already here.
Over 400,000 Nigerians. Over 250,000 Ethiopians. Nearly 250,000 Egyptians. All living, working, and spending right here in the United States. (Source: Migration Policy Institute)
And that's just three of the dozens of African communities across the country.
The market isn't the problem. Being found by it is.
We're building a way to close that gap — so African-owned businesses can reach the customers who are already looking for them.
