A friend of mine was Chief COVID Data Scientist for one of the largest health insurance providers in the US, who also owned the company that produced the ONLY (and always most reliable) COVID test available when it broke out. In his conversations with the scientists/doctors who made the test, they said to him there's absolutely signs this was made in a lab.

I'm not claiming to be an expert. I'm going with the opinion of the scientists who made the gold standard COVID test
