When the Gospel is “in play” in our relationships, it’s like a "reversed tug-of-war." A grace-battle of “outdoing one another in showing honor” (Rom. 12:10), valuing others above ourselves (Phil. 2:3). It’s loving others the way Jesus loves us (Jn. 13:34-35).
