@DGlenish Nice one! We'd start by praising them for wanting to be as prepared as possible. We definitely recommend not moving into testing too soon, we want to keep confidence high. Get the student reading as much as possible and expanding their vocabulary. Supplementary education also 😇
Going live in 3...2...1...
And we are LIVE! Get those Maths and English questions over to us using #twittertutor#tutortips#tutortakeover and one of our fantastic tutors will answer them for you!
@sheetxl Wow STEM revision can be difficult! We'd recommend effective time management whilst revising, knowing your strengths and repetition, repetition, repetition until you have understood, not just memorised. Did we say repetition?
@Prii29 Hmm, it sounds like we need to get to the details of why the student is struggling and address it specifically - a broad approach is not always right for each student! It may be they learn better with less distractions, or with more focus from a teacher or tutor. Great question!!
@Adnan_Sayed23 Hi Adnan! A Level Maths can be tricky - some tips would be taking past papers, make the most of your revision time by planning and ensuring that you haven't just memorised it, you have understood it. Of course we have some tutors in our centres who could help too 😉Good luck!!
@Elizabe08394471 I like it! Feeling poetic? A haiku is a traditional Japanese poem with only 17 syllables. A sonnet is a poem of fourteen lines (usually a more serious theme), so a lot more than 17 syllables! Reply with a haiku of your own if you're feeling brave 😆
Tomorrow, from 4pm, we will be hosting a Tutor Twitter Takeover! Some of our tutors will be answering your Maths and English questions live on our page. To get your questions answered just ask @BYTtuition using the hashtags #twittertutor#tutortips and expand that knowledge!
