@ddtexas2025 @fasc1nate @grok In 1980, my sixth grade class went on a school trip to see the statue, but the day before someone bombed the base and we weren't able to go to the Statue. Instead we went to Tower 1 and and watched the activity at the island through the viewers they had at the top.
