@IFBMedia Yeah but I feel that’s worst case scenario and not the most likely outcome. At worst you are overpaying someone who can still help young players and maybe grab a few goals off the bench. At best, you have a hardworking goal scorer that could easily play for a much better team.
@WaterfordFCie Good honest statement. We got away with one this year but it’s good to see the club know that. Actions speak louder than words but this seems a positive start
@IFBMedia Shows the benefit of having top finisher I suppose. Also, I think xG tends to rate headers as low quality chances and Podge has score a few lovely ones this season.
@WFCConor We could really do with Matty Smith having a miraculous sudden recovery. But in reality I think we’d probably tweak the formation and use Josh Miles or Trae Coyle if Tommy or Podge weren’t able to play
@loianalyst@WaterfordFCie Im not sure there were many areas Derry didn’t get joy in tbh. Just numbers wise Burke, Leahy, Dempsey, White and Mansfield are all left sided where as on the right we only have Horton, who is more of a CB anyway
@FenLFC22 @WFCConor@WaterfordFCie@paperassist The non Fleetwood signing have largely been more disappointing. It’s not as clear as Fleetwood = bad. Lonergan has been very good and McMullan has been inconsistent lately but has had some great games. The 2 Dutch lads have been worse than anything signed from Fleetwood
