@HemskiO @7ormRS @OldSchoolRS by native you mean runelite.appimage? Lol, one year ago I had to quit the official client because of switching to Linux, and now they are talking only about mac, but not Linux?
@ParasoxX@B0chanka@OldSchoolRS Slayer bosses are trash as well, I completely agree. Also, never even had bandos chestplate ever in my life. Torso is best in slot. Justiciar and barrows tops are best in slot def. BCP is literally dead content used by people with amulet of glory and rune legs rune boots.
@Lucas36009964@OldSchoolRS But the two betas had the exact same issue of lagging, or am I mistaken? Perhaps it wasn't just the DDoS, but the game limitations as well, or is that literally out of the realm of possibility? :D
@OldSchoolRS You won't be needing me entering my birth date for verification, because You can just look at the account creation date and that itself will might be well over 18 years. Sit, gf. :D
@Storm79931659 @OldSchoolRS@117scape Imagine using Linux to revive old hardware. Imagine not buying iPhones every month, or year, or ever, not even once. Imagine playing on the official client for years just to get forced onto runelite, because they somehow have .appimage download, while official website doesn't.
@TonyDeiri @Sageruwu@OldSchoolRS@117scape They are balancing new content around 3rd party clients, like seriously, wtf? Hallowed Sepulchre without render distance is just insane. Especially the 4th floor northern path last obstacle. Forget the tile markers, those are for noobs and not even an issue for vanilla players.
@reimusarmpit @OldSchoolRS Yep, RL appimage, that's precisely what I did for the sake of "it just works" without any tinkering with the mac client and extracting stuff from it.
Some sort of client would be great, considering Jagex's aim to expand into consoles or something. Why not start with Linux? :D
@OldSchoolRS GNU/Linux support when? :D
switched to runelite 3 months ago together with the operating system swap, been playing exclusively on official client for 4 years. I couldn't make Steam client work on Linux, tried few "Proton" options in vain. And on Windows, the C++ client = BSoD.
